Privacy Policy

As of: 12 October 2026

1. Controller

The controller responsible for processing your personal data is iweb4u Aliquò, sole proprietorship, owner Antonio Aliquò, Resedastrasse 8, 9404 Rorschacherberg, Switzerland. Phone 071 558 93 55, email info@iweb4u.ch. Please also direct all questions and concerns about data protection to this address.

2. Scope

This policy applies to the website www.iweb4u.ch in all language versions, to the website check, the partner page www.iweb4u.ch/milo, the solution folder, purchases via Stripe and our partner panel. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, section 17 applies in addition.

3. Hosting and server logs

Our website is hosted by our hosting provider SuisseInter in Switzerland. Each time a page is accessed, the server stores a log containing the IP address, time, URL called including parameters, referrer page, browser and operating system. We need these logs for operation, security and troubleshooting and evaluate them for these purposes as necessary. They are deleted no later than 12 months afterwards.

4. Storage in your browser

Our own pages do not set cookies. We store the following information in your browser's storage:

  • Your choice between light and dark design.
  • Where you came from: campaign parameters from the URL (utm parameters), click identifiers from Google Ads (gclid, gbraid, wbraid); for Facebook, Microsoft, TikTok and LinkedIn only whether an identifier was present; plus the name of the referring website and the time. We evaluate this information for 30 days.
  • For the duration of a session: a partner code if you arrive via a partner's link, and after a purchase the return from the payment page.
  • In the solution folder: which solutions you have marked as completed.

This information remains in your browser. The referral data is only transmitted to us by your browser when you use the website check (section 6). You can clear the storage at any time in your browser settings. Cookies from Google and Meta are described in section 5.

5. Cookie banner, Google Ads and Meta Pixel

On your first visit, a banner from PrivacyBee asks whether you allow cookies for advertising and measurement. PrivacyBee stores your choice. You can change it at any time via "Privacy settings" in the footer.

We integrate two services via Google Tag Manager. The Tag Manager itself loads these services and technically receives your IP address in the process.

  • Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, and Google LLC, USA): We measure whether a website check was started or completed, a contact form was submitted or the appointment booking link was clicked after a click on one of our ads. With your consent, Google sets cookies for this purpose and attributes the visit to the ad. Without consent, Google does not set cookies and only receives signals without identifiers such as time, page and browser, which Google uses for aggregated estimates.
  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Ireland, and Meta Platforms, Inc., USA): only with your consent. Meta learns that you visited our page and started or completed a website check. We use this to measure and better target our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

Google and Meta also process this data under their own responsibility in accordance with their privacy policies (policies.google.com/privacy and www.facebook.com/privacy/policy). Data may be transferred to the USA in the process.

6. The website check

To run a check, you only enter the address of a website; in the "Visibility" tab you can optionally enter your own search terms. There is no registration; you receive the PDF report without providing an email address.

For each check, we store the checked address, time, result, detected website system, your IP address, the referral data from section 4 and whether you subsequently opened the PDF report, clicked the appointment link or used the purchase offer. We receive an email with this information for each check.

We use this information to show you the result, prevent abuse, evaluate our advertising and contact the company behind the checked website (section 8). Checks from the same internet connection within 92 days are grouped together, for example when an agency checks multiple websites. For this purpose, we store the full IP address for 12 months; after that, we truncate it automatically (section 15).

To protect against abuse, we limit the number of checks and reports per internet connection. If requests accumulate, we receive a notification with IP address and browser and query RIPE NCC (Netherlands) and reverse DNS to determine which network the IP address belongs to. Connections that abuse the service may be blocked.

The partner page www.iweb4u.ch/milo runs the same check without Tag Manager and without banner. Checks from there are tagged with the campaign "ai-with-milo".

7. Information about checked websites and their operators

Any publicly accessible website can be checked, not just your own. Our server fetches public pages of the checked website, for example the home page, imprint, contact page, robots.txt and sitemap, and reads the contact details published there: company, name of owner or management, address, phone and email.

To check visibility and listings, we send domain, company name, location, phone number and search terms to the search service Serper (queries on Google), to Wikidata (Wikimedia Foundation, USA) and to online directories such as local.ch and search.ch, as well as the page code to the W3C validation service. For company profiles, we query the public UID register of the Swiss Federal Statistical Office.

8. Contacting and sharing with partners

We use the result of a check and the public contact details of the checked website to contact the company by phone or email and offer improvements.

We also share checked websites as leads with selected partner companies, primarily web agencies, partly for a fee. These partners may in turn contact the company. Each website is shared with no more than one partner. The information shared includes domain, date, result and report as well as a company profile from public sources: company, legal form, UID, name and function of owner or management, address, phone and email. Partners may supplement and confirm this information. The IP address and referral data of the person who ran the check are not shared.

Website operators may object to being contacted and to sharing at any time by emailing info@iweb4u.ch. We will then no longer contact the company and will no longer share the website.

9. Solution folder

The solution folder for an activated website is accessible at www.iweb4u.ch/loesungen/ with the address of that website, so that it can be forwarded to your own web designer. It contains the check result and information that is publicly available on the checked website. Which solutions you mark as completed is stored only in your browser.

10. Purchase via Stripe

If you purchase the solution folder, the payment service Stripe processes the payment (Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, Ireland). You enter your payment details directly with Stripe; we do not receive card or account data. From Stripe we receive name, email address, company (if provided), amount, time and type of payment and the payment identifiers. We also store the purchased domain, the result of the associated check and your IP address at the time of purchase.

We use this information to process the purchase, activate the domain, send you the confirmation with receipt, verify warranty and credit, maintain our accounting and prevent abuse. We add buyers to our customer management. Stripe also processes the data for fraud prevention and to comply with legal obligations in accordance with its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy); data may be transferred to the USA in the process. For payments with TWINT, TWINT AG, Zurich, is additionally involved. We retain receipts for the statutory period of 10 years.

11. Appointments via Calendly

For video appointments, we link to Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA). The link transmits the address of the checked website and the page you came from, so we know what the meeting is about. What you enter on Calendly is processed by Calendly in accordance with its own privacy policy (calendly.com/privacy) and forwarded to us.

12. Contact forms and email

Our contact forms are forwarded to us by the form service of Bootstrap Studio (Zine EOOD, Bulgaria); to protect against spam, the service uses Google reCAPTCHA. We receive your details by email and use them to respond to your enquiry. Our email inbox is hosted with Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Ireland). We retain enquiries and emails for as long as necessary for processing and any potential collaboration.

13. Partner panel

Partner companies and employees log into our partner panel. For this we store username, email address and role; the password is stored only in encrypted form. A session cookie maintains the login until you close the browser or remain inactive for 8 hours. We store failed login attempts with internet connection and time for one day to protect against attacks.

14. Recipients and disclosure abroad

We only share personal data with the entities named in this policy: with partner companies (section 8) and with service providers who work for us or whose services we use. These are hosting (SuisseInter, Switzerland), email (Microsoft), cookie banner (PrivacyBee), advertising and measurement (Google, Meta), payment (Stripe, TWINT), appointment booking (Calendly), forms (Bootstrap Studio, Google) and checking and search services (Serper, Wikidata, W3C, RIPE NCC, online directories, UID register).

Some of these services process data in the USA or in other countries without equivalent data protection. Where the provider is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, we rely on that; otherwise on the provider's standard contractual clauses. Queries to checking and search services contain only information that is publicly accessible on the checked website.

15. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by law: server logs as described in section 3, failed login attempts for one day, purchase receipts for 10 years. We truncate full IP addresses automatically after 12 months so that they only indicate the provider and approximate region; email notifications containing them are deleted after the same period. Connections that we have blocked due to abuse are excluded for as long as the block is in effect. Other data relating to checks and contacts is retained for the customer relationship, and we regularly review whether it is still needed.

16. Your rights

You may request information about your personal data, a copy in a common format, correction of inaccurate data and deletion of data that is no longer needed. You may object to processing, in particular to being contacted, to sharing with partners and to advertising, and may revoke consent at any time, for example via "Privacy settings". Write to info@iweb4u.ch; we may require proof of your identity. You may also file a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (www.edoeb.admin.ch).

17. Visitors from the EU

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent for cookies from Google Ads and the Meta Pixel (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), the contract for the purchase (lit. b), legal obligations for accounting (lit. c) and our legitimate interest for the operation and security of the website, the website check, contacting companies and sharing with partners (lit. f). You may also file a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority of your country.

18. Automated assessment

The website check assesses websites automatically. It does not make decisions with legal effect about individuals.

19. Changes

We update this policy when our processing activities change. The version published on this page applies.
